School Nurse
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a Medical course with at least 2 years experience in the related field.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct health screenings and assessments, administer first aid, and provide care for students with injuries or illnesses during school hours.
- Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, epilepsy), ensuring their needs are met while at school.
- Administer prescribed medications to students in compliance with school policies and maintain accurate records of all medications given.
- Provide guidance and education to students, parents, and staff on health-related topics such as hygiene, nutrition, mental health, and disease prevention.
- Prepare and respond to medical emergencies, participate in creating health and safety protocols, and train staff on procedures like CPR and first aid.
