Subjects studied as per the Curriculum:
MATHEMATICS
Learners develop a holistic understanding of the subject, focussing on
principles, patterns, systems, functions and relationships.
ENGLISH
Learners develop skills & understanding in four areas: reading, writing,
speaking and listening.
SCIENCE
Students will think scientifically and develop practical skills alongside knowledge and understanding, which is vital for explaining the world around us.
FRENCH
Learners develop skills & understanding in four areas: reading, writing,
speaking and listening.
Digital Literacy
Learners develop the digital skills that will help with many aspects of their future learning and development.
Humanities
This contains History and Geography, focused on critical study and questioning of the human experience.
Music
Learners explore music as performers, composers and informed listeners. They make, understand and appreciate music from different cultures, times & places.
Art & Design
Students develop creative skills that will help with many aspects of their future learning and development.
Physical Education
Learners develop skills through a wide variety of age-appropriate physical
activities, including games, gymnastics and dance.
English as an additional language
This curriculum develops learners’ curiosity about other languages and cultures, and how these shape our perceptions of the world.
Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE)
The subject is focused on areas of career, relationships, physical and mental health, money management, safety, substances, study skills, and current affairs.
